Atlético de Madrid
Continuing with my learning of diverse AI techniques and tools, I created this short animation film made entirely from static images for the #AtletiCreatorsClub competition organised by Atlético de Madrid, my lifelong club, of which I am an unconditional fan and member. So I’d say it has been one of the most beautiful, funniest and enjoyable projects of my career, but above all it felt like coming home in many ways.
120 Years
To pay tribute to the club in its 120 years of history, the story shows a journey through the real life of Madrid portraying its different characters, very diverse people who are united by their Atleti with the excuse of a goal that after being scored escapes from the stadium to fly off to Madrid’s sky. The ending is a nod to one of Atleti’s most popular mottos among its fan base: Nunca dejes de creer (Never stop believing). The music belongs to Sabina and Leiva, two Spanish well-known musicians with a large and successful career who have composed this song as a gift for their beloved club.
